•  Mainstreamed human rights concerns in civil society and governance agenda.

•  Extended through a special shelter home “ Maa Ghara ” services like rescue, care and physical as well as legal     protection to victimized women; the shelter is located at Bhubaneswar , the capital city of Orissa .

•  Operated 24 hours Help line for women victims of violence and persecution backed by an alert rescue and     trauma management team as well as ambulance service.

•  Extended care & protection to the children in difficult circumstance through legalized in-country adoption, crèche     and child labour schools.

•  Sensitized law-makers policy makers, judges, Government officers, Enforcement agencies, lawyers and Media     persons for pro poor transparent and accountable governance.

•  Published easy to understand information and communication materials in print and audio-visual format in the     shape of wall papers brochures, hand outs and book-lets for citizen education.

•  Undertook research and documentation based on socio-economic surveys to address the felt needs of the     vulnerable communities.

•  Achieved widespread grassroots presence through direct action projects and thematic networks.

•  Established good rapport and synergistic relationship with government, donors and UN agencies.

•  Noted for strong and visible contribution in upholding dignity & rights of women and weaker sections of the     society.

•  Piloted the idea of ‘Community Vigilance Group Member' providing training support and identity Cards.

•  Awarded “letter of appreciation” several times for its contribution to the ANTI CORRUPTION MOVEMENT by the     State Vigilance Department.

•  At work to expand the scope & scale of current engagements facilitating RTI, Social Audit, Community based     planning, Implementation and Monitoring.

•  Old age person's care and family repatriation as most of this unfortunate lot have been discarded for family     members not being able to meet expenses or living in distant locations.

•  Disaster response, Rescue, Relief and Rehabilitation as and when natural calamities occur. Most of the members     of the organization are trained in minimum disaster management.

•  Created citizen committee name like State Human Rights Protection Forum to watch and monitor governance     issues as well as Human Rights issues.
